Ocean’s Rest is a spacious coastal villa in Aljezur on the South-West Algarve located in the beautiful and scenic Protected Natural Park of the Costa Vicentina. Great place to relax and explore the sandy beaches of Monte Clérigo and Arrifana which are just a 5 minute drive from the villa.

Perfect for families, couples or a group of friends wanting to relax in their own villa in peaceful surroundings yet close to the beaches where you can body board, get surf lessons, swim, sunbathe. Plenty of activities on your doorstep; horse riding, hire mountain bikes, e-bikes/scooters, walking in the surrounding area or playing padel at the newly installed courts just a few minutes drive from the villa. Pilates, Yoga courses/retreats/classes and massages also available.
You are spoilt for choice with restaurants which are all located just a short drive away; sushi, seafood, Thai/Indo, pizza, burgers, traditional Portuguese.

The space: The villa consists of 3 bedrooms; master bedroom with ensuite, 1 x double, 1 twin and 1 family bathroom.
It has a large living room, a spacious and fully equipped kitchen with patio doors leading out to a private peaceful terrace set in a large garden with a swimming pool, sunloungers, BBQ, dining area, lounge area with sofa and armchairs and a table tennis table.
The property has lots of natural light and is equipped with ceiling fans.

Location: Faro International Airport is 1 hour 15 minute drive (113 km). Fast motorway from Faro airport then scenic drive through the natural park on the N120. Lagos is 30 minute drive away.
Bakery nearby for breakfast requirements (pastries, croissants, bread) and all your groceries.

How to Get Here:
If you put Birds of Paradise Surf Lodge into Google Maps then you are almost at the villa. Pass Birds of Paradise on your left hand side, at the roundabout take the first turning on the right then look for the villa which has a green fence and gate, house number 67.

Intermarche Aljezur – Igreja Nova EN 120, 8670-161 Aljezur, the largest supermarket situated in central Aljezur.
Local market: Thursdays at The Bakery in Vale da Telha Sector B 09:30-13:30 and a farmers market takes place every Saturday morning in the multipurpose space Aljezur (EMA) 08:00 – 12:00.

Beaches
We have plenty of beautiful beaches near the villa, our closest are:
Praia da Arrifana: located in a natural park and surrounded by cliffs. The beach is perfect for surfing, swimming and sunbathing. Lunch at Praia da Arrifana restaurant whilst overlooking the sea.
Praia da Amoreira: located at the mouth of the Aljezur river, and it is known for its wild beauty and untouched nature. The beach is perfect for long walks, surfing, and sunbathing with a few restaurants and cafes nearby.
Praia de Monte Clérigo: Our nearest beach. Located in a small coastal village, surrounded by sand, hills and countryside. A beautiful place to spend the day and lunch at one of the restaurants.
Beaches a little further away (approx. 30 minute drive):
Odeceixe Mar a beautiful scenic beach. Perfect for surfing, swimming and sunbathing.
Vale Figueiras known for its clean waters and golden sand. Popular with surfers and also great for sunbathing, swimming and walking.

Bordeira's Beach situated in a natural park and is known for its wild beauty and pristine waters. Great for surfing, swimming and sunbathing as well as hiking trails.
