What To Do Whilst On Staycation?
Whether you are away to relax, to get out in nature, to eat out in the countryside or completely zen out in our staycation venues, we have something to do for everyone.
Below are some ideas of what you can get up to to enhance your experience with us...
The 8 Bells Pub
Just a short walk across local footpaths, The Eight Bells is a beautifully refurbished village pub now under new ownership. Serving seasonal menus, local ales, and a warm welcome, it’s the perfect spot for a relaxed lunch or cosy evening meal during your stay.
Tennis Lessons
Beauty Treatments
We have a beautician that specialises in relaxation pamper experiences for guests enjoying their stay with us. You can book from a range of treatments including couples massages.
Book a private lesson at our local tennis club, just 3 miles from us with 7 outdoor courts (floodlit) including 4 new artificial clay courts.
Knepp Castle Safaris
Visit one of the largest rewilding projects in lowland Britain. Vehicle-based safaris or guided walking tours observing birds, mammals, butterflies, beetles, reptiles, plants and fungi in a setting that feels as wild and dynamic as the African bush. 10 minute drive from The Piggery.
Kayaking
The Kayak Coach offers kayak & canoe trips on some of the beautiful rivers in Sussex such as the Cuckmere, Adur and Ouse. This is close to The Fountain Ashurst so you could combine hiring a kayak followed by a drink or lunch at the pub. (https://www.thekayakcoach.com)
